Life Before ECC . . .
I was raised by entrepreneurial parents in Austin, Texas for twenty years. I completed my collegiate career with a B.A. in History from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. After graduation, I was the director of Golf at Nettle Creek Country Club in my hometown of Morris, Illinois. I was a Senior Underwriter at Philly where my responsibilities included underwriting and servicing NP D&O, EPLI, Fiduciary, K&R, Misc. Prof. Liability, Accountant's & Lawyers Risks. From PHLY, I joined HUB International and became the professional Liability Practice Leader within a year and a half.

Life at ECC . . .
In my current position at ECC, I partner with select retailers across the country to assist them with a host of coverages while maintaining a concentration on Lawyers’ Professional Liability. Seeing as that I have been an Underwriter and led the professional liability practice group at a top-5 retailer, I bring unique perspective to the placement, and completely understand from experience, some of the hurdles out there.

Life Outside ECC . . .
I have been married to the terribly lucky Nancy since 1999. We have two children, Ms, Lady Emily and her little brother, Bennett Drake. Nancy has done an amazing job raising Lady E, B-Diddy, Larry the Lab, and me. In our spare time, we enjoy camping, golf, travel, golf, tater-tot eating contests, and snipe hunting.
