Life Before ECC...
I began my insurance career in the early 1980’s and have enjoyed working with a variety of agencies, each with different specialties and clientele. I obtained my Illinois Property and Casualty license in 1986 and a year later I acquired my Life and Health license. In 1989, I was among the first group to attain the Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) designation in Illinois, from the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents. I was also one of the first to earn the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 1995, from the Illinois Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives. Earning my Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2005 from The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors was a particularly special achievement for me personally.

Life at ECC...
I am fortunate to work with Dan Real as an Assistant Vice President and the Senior Account Manager on his team. Servicing and marketing CGL/Products, Umbrella, E&O and D&O liability coverage for a variety of accounts is interesting, challenging and rewarding. My varied background and experience has proven to be an asset to this position. I take the most pride in knowing clients are pleased with the service they receive. At the end of the day, that is the most important and the most satisfying of my career contributions.

Life Outside of ECC ...
I have been truly blessed with my wonderful daughter DeAnna, who I am very proud of, and also with her husband Kevin, a sincere man I am happy to call my son. We have lots of laughs together, which is my most favorite way to spend time. I enjoy music of all kinds and especially love summer nights at Ravinia relaxing with a good glass of wine. The past few years, I have been lucky enough to travel a bit and particularly love any warm, relaxing location near the ocean. I also like to bake, truly enjoy reading or watching a good movie and have discovered I am pretty good at a variety of Wii games, which is always a fun time laughing with friends and family.
